High Hopes Summer Soirée Event Creative

A midsummer’s dream.

High Hopes Therapeutic Riding is a community of participants, horses, volunteers, and staff that change lives together. Through their meaningful work, they provide equine-assisted services to those with physical and developmental disabilities. Every year their gala hosts 600+ community members for a night of joy, celebration, and fundraising.

Project Goals

Hosted just before the summer solstice, the committee decided on a midsummer theme for the 2026 gala, Summer Soirée. The Julia Balfour team designed a visual identity for the event that created an ethereal and surreal feel. Inspired by collages and a scrapbooks, we created a style that emphasized florals, nature, and new growth and combined it with High Hopes-centric objects, as well as random bits. Finishing it off with whimsical typefaces and an illustrated feel, Summer Soirée was a dreamy festival you didn’t want to miss.
