High Hopes 2015 Holiday Market

Hi ho, ho, ho.

High Hopes Therapeutic Riding’s annual Holiday Market offers a unique shopping experience featuring local artisans, handmade gifts, and seasonal decorations, all in support of their mission to provide therapeutic riding programs. Visitors can enjoy festive activities, live music, and delicious treats, making it a perfect family outing for the holiday season.

Project Goals

For the 2015 Holiday Market visuals, the Julia Balfour team wanted to make a nod to past Market themes while integrating new designs. Using festive iconography from past years, the design team at JB handdrew each item as well as event lock ups, typographic details, simple snowflakes, and even sponsor icons with a 2B pencil. We also conducted a photoshoot with some of the best models we’ve ever worked with — the equine team at High Hopes. Photographing the top of their heads from the front, their ears held a prominent (and playful) spot, anchoring the bottom of most Holiday Market collateral. Combinging the hand drawn aspect and beautiful horses, and adding a dash of jolly red to the text, the 2015 Holiday Market aesthetic really gets us excited for the holiday season.
