The Hadlyme Country Market is a charming general store and café offering fresh, locally sourced goods and homemade meals in a cozy, rustic setting, nestled in Hadlyme, Connecticut. It serves as a beloved community hub where locals and visitors can enjoy everything from gourmet coffee and pastries to artisanal groceries and seasonal produce.
Project Goals
As, what some might say, the heart of Hadlyme, community has always been at the forefront for the Hadlyme Country Market team. So of course they send out a thoughtful holiday card every year. This year, the Julia Balfour team wanted to combine a monochromatic, yet heartfelt hand drawn look. Sitting in the yard across from the Market, our designer drew the building and surroundings, and then brought it back to the studio to finish up and add some holiday accents. Using the Hadlyme Country Market brand fonts, adding in a swash of blue, and making sure the chicken was represented, the JB team helped HCM put the perfect touch on the holiday season. A happy holiday indeed!
