What We Did
Research, education, and treatment.
That’s what drives The Hughston Clinic’s expansive care centers. With various locations in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and more, the Hughston Clinic is a nationally and internationally recognized center of quality treatment of musculoskeletal injury and disease.
Project Goals
Hughston Clinic (like many healthcare organizations) was in the process of rapidly expanding into a healthcare system. They needed a website that was easy for marketing teams to use and performed for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as they grew into a national brand.
Together, we established a three-part website system that met their current needs and formed a best practice foundation for their growth as an Ambulatory health system. The pages really came to life as we began to translate what makes them unique and digitalize their wellness publication.
Fresh, clean & Welcoming
Design
Throughout the multisite WordPress system created for Hughston Clinic, a new brand perspective for a refreshed look and feel was sought. Using existing brand colors and typefaces, our creative team expanded the color palette enough to give each color a purpose, and selected a complementary typeface. In addition to photos of people living active and healthy lifestyles, photography of each of the three locales was used on their respective sites to give each practice a sense of place. Since so many different types of content were being displayed on each page (service information, links, health news, locations, doctors), a system of consistent yet distinct rows were designed to make it easier for users to differentiate information. All of this was done while maintaining a feeling of modernity, progress, warmth, and approachability.
Wellness at Hughston
The Blog
With Hughston’s goal of ramping up their own unique content paired with their pre-existing “Health Alert” newsletter, a blog was a natural step in the right direction towards living their truth as knowledge-holders in the orthopedics field. Wellness at Hughston was designed to showcase a variety of written pieces that was able to speak to all their specialties, while promoting healthy lifestyle content for patients and beyond.
I have no words to describe the work you guys have done. I can’t even imagine what these doctors are going to say when we launch this site.
