Those of us that just received our iPhone 4s are all buzzing about which apps will make you laugh or change your life. So, I thought I’d share with you one of my favorites. A lot of our clients are women. Therefore, we know women and women love to shop. I know I do! This app changed my life when I shop. We all have those annoying rewards cards bogging down our keychains and frankly doing a number on our car’s starter. The app, CardStar, allows you to store all those cards on you smartphone. Essentially you select the store, type in the digit code on the back of your card (below the bar code), and the app generates a digital version of that barcode that is ready whenever you need it. The app even goes so far to let you plug in the phone number or locate that store closest to you. The only down side is that some stores don’t have the equipment to scan the barcode directly off your phone, but they can always manually type in the digit code associated with it.
